It happened once again.. another girl from my family circle had asked her parents to look for an USA based groom. Similar thing happened few years ago in my circle and unfortunately that girl is still waiting for a groom now... from anywhere. Everyone has a right to have expectations about their life partner but I feel that having this US as a priority in choosing a life partner is a wrong criteria. I can't understand why still in 2016 people think "USA" is some heaven and fall for the grooms there. If the girls feel that USA is a dream destination for them, why can't they try to reach there by their own efforts - either via studies or get a project based there. Instead why select a guy based there just to reach USA? Is the groom supposed to be a "immigration personnel" or a life partner who should stand together in all the phases of life?

நமது வாழ்க்கையில் எவ்வளவோ மனிதர்கள் வருவார்கள் போவார்கள் ஆனால் அவர்கள் நம் வாழ்க்கையில் ஏதோ ஒரு வகையில் தனது முத்திரையை பதித்துவிட்டு போயிருப்பார்கள். பின்னோக்கி திரும்பி பார்க்கும்போது "ஒருவேளை இவர்கள் இல்லையென்றால்.." என்று யோசிக்கும் அளவுக்கு இருக்கும். இது போன்ற மனிதர்களை பற்றி ஏற்கனவே ஒரு பதிவு - எங்கிருந்தோ வந்தான் - போட்டிருக்கிறேன். இந்த பதிவும் அதன் தொடர்ச்சி என்று எடுத்துக்கொள்ளலாம்.

நமக்கு எங்கேயும் எப்போதும் ஞானம் /பதில்கள் கிடைக்கலாம் ஆகையால் நமது சூழ்நிலையில் இருப்பது அவசியம். பல முறை நாம் உடலளவில் ஒரு இடத்தில் இருப்போம் ஆனால் நம் மனதளவில் வேறு எங்கோ சுற்றிக்கொண்டிருப்போம். நாம் எங்கே பறந்துக்கொண்டிருந்தாலும் நம்மை பிடித்து தரைக்கு இழுத்து grounded-ஆக வைக்க ஒரு mechanism அவசியம்.  எனக்கு ஒரு கட்டத்தில் வாழ்க்கையில் பயங்கர விரக்தி அடைந்த நிலையில் இருந்தபோது நடந்த ஒரு பயணம் என்னை மீண்டும் புதுப்பிக்க வைத்தது.

ஒவ்வொரு தேர்தலிலும் கட்சி  தலைவர்களின் பிரச்சார தரம் குறைந்துக்கொண்டே வருவதை பார்க்கலாம். நாங்கள் ஆட்சிக்கு வந்தால் என்ன செய்வோம்  ஒட்டு கேட்பதை விட்டுவிட்டு எதிர் தரப்பை கேவலமாக பேசி "இவருக்கா உங்கள் ஒட்டு?" என்று கேட்பதிலிருந்தே இவர்களது பதவி ஆசை அப்பட்டமாக வெளிப்படுகிறது. இதில் நகைச்சுவை என்னவென்றால் இரண்டு தரப்பின் தாக்குதல் வீடியோக்கள் ஒன்றுபோலவே உள்ளன. இருவருமே ஊழல் பெருச்சாளிகள், தங்களை நேர்மையானவர்கள் என்று சொல்லிக்கொள்ள வாக்கு இல்லதவர்கள். அதனாலேயே ஒருவர் மற்றவரை திட்டிக்கொள்கிறார்கள்.

கடந்த சில வருடங்களாகவே எனக்கு நான் இருக்கும் இந்த ஐ.டி  துறையின் மீது ஒரு அவநம்பிக்கையும், பாதுகாப்பின்மையும் தோன்ற துவங்கியது. மற்ற துறைகளில் அனுபவம் கூட கூட பொறுப்புகளும் மரியாதையும் கிடைக்கும். ஆனால் இந்த தொழில் நுட்பத்துறையில் அனுபவமும் சம்பளமும் கூட கூட பாதுகாப்பின்மையும், அரசியலும் தான் கூடும். பணத்தை மிச்சப்படுத்த இந்த தொழில்நுட்பத்துறை நிறுவனங்கள் சம்பளம் அதிகம் வாங்கும் பணியாளர்களை நீக்கிவிட்டு அதற்கு பதிலாக அடிமாட்டு சம்பளத்தில் அனுபவம் குறைந்த இளைய பணியாளர்களை நியமிக்கும். அதற்கு நிறுவனங்கள் கையில் எடுப்பது அப்ரைசல் எனப்படும் மதிப்பீட்டை தான். அதனாலேயே தங்களை காப்பாற்றிக்கொள்ள மேனேஜர்களை அண்டிப்பிழைக்கும் அரசியல் பண்ண ஊழியர்கள் பழக்கப்படுகிறார்கள். இங்கு உழைப்புக்கு மதிப்பில்லை. மாறாக  எவ்வளவு நக்குகிறீர்களோ அதற்கேற்ப தான் உங்கள் மதிப்பெண். இதற்கு இந்த மேனேஜர்கள் கொடுக்கும் பெயர் "கம்யூனிக்கேஷன் ஸ்கில்".

எவ்வளவு நாளுக்கு தான் நான் user manual கணக்கா பதிவு போடுறது.. அவனவன் எழுத ஆரம்பிச்சு 2 வருஷத்திலே சுஜாதா கணக்கா எழுத ஆரம்பிக்கிறான் ஆனா என்னோட எழுத்து தரம் நாளுக்கு நாள் கீழே போயிட்டே இருக்குன்னு மனசாட்சி கிண்டலடிக்க... நானும் இனிமே கதை எழுதப்போறேன்னு முரசு அஞ்சல் சாப்ட்வேர் போட்டு வேர்டுபேட்-ஐ தொறந்து வச்சுகிட்டு என்ன எழுதன்னு யோசிக்க ஆரம்பித்தேன்.

"It's just goes to show that there's never too late to achieve something in life, if you have that attitude in you.." This is what I believe in body building also (It is another story that I am saying this and keep procrastinate work outs) and today I came across these stories that is really inspiring. They are from Bollywood and ofcourse being in films, they have the compulsion to look good but the underlying point is that you can start work outs at any point of your life. There will be limitations regarding the kind of workout you can do taking your age, metabolism rate and muscles into consideration but you can reach your destination if there is a determination. These stories are for all those who think that fitness regime is for late teens & early 20-s only.

There goes an adage - Something is better than nothing. But when it comes to be with people I feel that if you don't get right people - "Nothing is better than something negative". If I paraphrase it, then it will read like this - It is better to be alone rather than being with people who are cynical or add no value to my life". Probably this finicky nature had left me with only a handful of friends all over my life. I am not complaining but happy that I am choosing people whose presence I need in my life forever.

When it comes to sex, we Indians are definitely hypocrites, atleast in admitting that we think about sex a lot of time ever since the teens. Everyone's entry into the sexual fantascy itself will be a fascinating story and most of the times those stories go to the grave with the owners. For South Indian people who belonged to 80-s like me, it is still more fascinating because of restricted / almost nil access to quality sex materials. The escapades we done to get those materials even soft core / harmless erotic stuffs can make thousands of interesting stories.

When Orkut was introduced I joined on it very late and by the time I was getting familiar of its features I switched to Facebook in late 2009 and started using it actively from 2010. If you notice my "Monthwise Archives", you could see that I was very actively blogging in 2007/2008/2009.. the blog count was on steady rise because I was using this blog as a platform for expression and I used to receive hundreds of visitors everyday. I easily covered more than a lakh visitors in an year.
