{mosimage}No, that tag line is actually a part of the movie's name, not I phrased to described the album. But no harm even if used to describe the album because the album really celebrates love. This album for which Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy collaborating with "Kal Ho Na Ho..." Nikhil Advani for his second directorial venture comprising a mammoth starcast of Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, John Abraham, Govinda, Sohail Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Vidya Balan, Ayesha Takia, Juhi Chawla, Priyanka Chopra, Isha Khoppikar and British actress Shannon Esrechowitz, is a run away success from the second one it starts playing. The stamp of Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy is evident all over sometimes spills the hangover of "Kal Ho Na Ho..." but considering that this album comes from the same KHNH team, it is unavoidable. Out of seven tracks, the success ratio is close to 100% with every track having a merit of its own. Lyricist Sameer pens some young and fresh lines for this album. My favourites listed on that order...


{mosimage}1. Salaam-E-Ishq:- The fever catches on fervently when this title track opens with bagpiper music. Unarguably the best track of this album with vocal support rendered by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal, Kunal Ganjanwala, Sadhana Sargam and Shankar Mahadevan himself besides composing it. With extensive orchestration and SEL's stamp, this number makes you press rewind button the moment is about to close. As said earier this easy catchy track celebrates love saluting everything associated with their "mohboob & mehbooba". Word of caution: A very strong resemblence of "Jindh Maahive.." from KHNH certainly can't be missed or overlooked.

{mosimage}2. Dil Kya Kare:- If you missed Adnan Sami in movies for a while, he makes a splendid comeback with this number. His cottony soft vocals (conscious effort to sound so?) transport you to the other world of love lorn citizens. Sameer's lyrics deserve a special mention who synopsis is all about being absent mided and helpless when fallen in love. Somebody said that this had the flavour of western Carribean music, but it is very much identifiable for an ordinary music lover like me. Choice of Adnan Sami to lend his voice for love lorn guy is a case of perfect casting, while the extensive use of soft crooning chorus is of typical SEL's trademark.

{mosimage}3. Babuji Dheere Jalna:- This peppy remix of the track from "Aar Paar" sung by Geeta Dutt originally. "Sa Re Ga Ma Pa" winner Nihira steps behind the mike to sing this song again for SEI. I believe much attention is paid to choose the remix beats and rhythms not to overshadow the words and the mood. Nihira sounds very much nostalgic oozing that seductiveness and the orchestration complementing the feel. I believe that this might have been picturised on John - Vidya Balan couple's love making sequences or over Anil Kapoor & an item girl. 

{mosimage}4. Saiyaan Re:- Sung by Medonca, I mistook her voice for Vasundhara Das, with there being stricking similarity between their voice. This "qawwali" number hooks the listeners on the first listening itself. After the successful modernised qawwali "Kajra Re..", this outing is also a perfect case of east meets west. I believe the picturisation is also "East Meets West" because it is supposed to be picturised on "desi" Govinda and "angrezi" Shannon Esrechowitz.

{mosimage}5. Pyar Ke Sazaa..:- Kailash Kher unleashes his madness once again with this pathos track of the album. There is a mesmerising quality in the voice of Kailash Kher that takes off to the higher notes in seconds and sustaining the same. This track has more of BGM moments than words, that makes this eminently enjoyable. A sad track that effectively imparts the feeling of "love problems" yet not depressing, so it doesn't make you feel that drag normally associated with slow pathos songs.

{mosimage}6. Mera Dil:- A typical SEL score with sugar coated candyfloss all over, starts off with a familiar note of "Kuch to hua hai.." from KHNH and have that feeling all over. Singers Shaan and Nihira (her second song in the album). Even though it is nice, I don't feel like writing more because of strong "heard-before-already" feeling while this track was playing. To be frank, after a minute or two, I press the "next" button. The mention worthy aspect of this song is the voice of Nihira. This girl can become next Shreya Ghosal provided she gets ample opportunities to display her histrionics. A voice to watch for... 

{mosimage}7. Tenu leke.. :- A typical Hindi score is never complete with a Punjabi loaded track and Bhangra beats, and in this album this "Tenu leke.." fills the shoes. However what sets apart this from other similiar numbers is its mix of western orchestration with "dhol" & "bhangra" sounds. This is a marriage song where the guy promises to come with a "baarati" and take the girl along with him. Going by the stills and promos I think that this is that Ayesha Takia - Akshaye Khanna number.
